After working 10 years at a local trout farm, I (Jeff Koehn) left to pursue my own family business. Starting as a custom operator, I eventually acquired my own farms and rented a hatchery where I have been able to run a ‘hatch-to-finish’ trout production operation. With a love for nature and a passion for trout farming I, together with my wife and two children have been producing quality trout on a scale small enough to insure they are raised to the highest standards.
When the pandemic hit, we lost our market with the local processors and as a result began processing our own. Again, remaining small allows us to reach the specialty markets found in our local restaurants and Farmer’s Markets.
