Keith grew up in Naknek, a small town nestled on the tundra against the shores of Bristol Bay. Since he was 11, he has been commercial fishing for salmon with his dad in the Naknek-Kvichak District. and literally wrote the book on their decades of stories together. Outside of fishing, Keith is a teacher, coach, ultrarunner, and enthusiast for the outdoors.
Mandy is from the shores of the Snake River in Idaho, where salmon once migrated just as abundantly as they do in the rivers of Bristol Bay. While she is also a teacher and coach, Mandy has a background in business and accounting. From skiing to mountain biking to fly fishing, her love of the outdoors forever expands into all of its realms. When she came aboard the commercial fishing operation, changes would only be for the better.
Together, we are Wilsons’ Wild Salmon!
Our salmon is sustainably harvested near the mouth of the Kvichak River as they are on their way back to Iliamna, the largest lake in Alaska. While the bulk of our catch is delivered to one of the original canneries in Naknek, we choose the highest-quality sockeye salmon to bring home to you. It is chilled, filleted, cut into portions, sealed, flash frozen, and carefully packed for it’s journey south.
We primarily serve customers in the Sun Valley, Idaho area where we live and play most of the year.
